PC Gaming

Our brief from The Source was to create a PC Gaming section that says, “we get gamers”, while merchandising key products within the store.

Aspirational Appeal

During our research, we noticed some key visual themes in the gaming setups being shared on social media. We decided to recreate the look and feel that many of these gaming stations were going for in-store.

Through modern textures, shelving and lighting, we were able to break away from columns of hanging product into something more sophisticated. 

We also made sure to include props that acknowledge popular gaming franchises. This communicates relevancy while serving as a reminder: these products will help you play your favourite titles.

We also developed a directive for brand imagery in the PC Gaming section. We don’t need a close-up shot of the mouse that’s already on display, we need big victories, excitement, and eSports.
