A retail campaign that was adapted to digital and out of home, this campaign is all about the eagerness we have to reconnect with life when the school year starts again.

We developed a logo lockup that would emphasize the idea of looking ahead while creating a sense of forward momentum. You need to get things done before back-to-school, but there is plenty to look forward to.

The visual energy and movement of traditional neon signs was a perfect communicator. It could be brought to life in retail, but also animated for on-screen applications.

We also used commonly understood icons to tie in the idea of emotion and conversation—socially important aspects of getting back to school and the family routine.

Overall, our concept was successful because it focused on the positive rather than familiar pain-points. We all understand the stress involved in preparation, but joyful anticipation can keep us moving forward.
